Man in 40s Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Crash near 43rd Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (October 6, 2022) – Early Monday morning, police responded to a hit-and-run crash near Indian School Road that claimed the life of one man.
The incident happened on October 3rd when officers received a report about a man being struck by a vehicle near 43rd Avenue.
Furthermore, responding officers arrived and found a man in his 40s lying on the highway with major injuries.
According to Phoenix Police, the man was pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.
In addition, a witness told police that the pedestrian was crossing the street when the collision occurred.
Meanwhile, the identity of the man has not been released by authorities at this time. The involved driver was later found and arrested by authorities.
