Studio 395, a nonprofit Lake Elsinore arts coalition, opened its first gallery exhibit Aug. 5 at Gallery @ the Outlets, in Unit H185 at the Outlets at Lake Elsinore.
Twenty local artists have contributed photography, traditional visual art, sculpture and digital art for the exhibit, which continues 5-9 p.m. Aug. 6, 12 and 13.
Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
“We believe it is vital for artists to have a venue and voice to be able to express themselves in a creative, collective environment,” Rebecca Esquibel, chief executive officer of Studio 395, said in a news release. “This exhibit will provide that forum and give local artists a chance to introduce their work and their message to the wider community.”
To celebrate Studio 395’s first gallery show, Grammy-nominated reggae musician Pato Banton, based in Southern California, will present a free concert featuring Antoinette Rootsdawtah 8 p.m. Aug. 13 in the courtyard in front of Unit H185.
The Outlets at Lake Elsinore is at 17600 Collier Ave., Lake Elsinore.
